USC (University of Southern California) Distance Learning

I’ve been friends with an amazing guy for almost a year now, and I can’t imagine life without him. I think the world of him- he’s amazingly intelligent, modest, polite, and we can never run out of things to talk about. But, as embarrassing as this is, he lives in Germany, and I live in Los Angeles. He has family in Glendale that he visits, and he absolutely loves L.A. He hopes to go to USC for film school, and is already interning for a film production company. Before you assume things, he isn’t putting up a secret life- I’ve talked to his mom and sister via skype (his family is so sweet!), as well as him too many times to count.

I don’t want to tell him anything, because of the distance and because I don’t want to make him uncomfortable, but he’s coming to Los Angeles this summer, and I just don’t think I’ll be able to stand not letting him know of my feelings somehow. As crazy as it is, we truly consider each other one of our best friends. He even is helping me learn his first language, as I’ve always wanted to learn Russian. :D (His family is Armenian, which is why they speak Russian in the first place.) I’ve never met any guy that was so respectful of me and my beliefs, or someone that I can truly talk about anything with. I know that, at fifteen, I’m way too young to feel this way about anyone, but this is so much more than just a silly infatuation to me. Crushes come and go with me, but even with us knowing each others’ imperfections, we’re able to bond. I’m so afraid of rejection, because I’ve never been in a relationship, but I don’t know if I’ll ever meet someone as cheerful, intelligent, and mature as him. How should I go about this’
Oh God, the way I worded my question makes me sound like a loser. xD I meant that he’s my closest guy friend, not my closest friend.
Oh, no, he’s seventeen. :)
