MIT Computer Science Distance Education

I’m a junior right now and next year I will be obviously be a senior. I’m researching colleges, I want to major in computer science. I have several things about a school that I need to make sure are covered. I don’t really mind the distance, as long as its in the US(or maybe even Canada but nowhere else) I currently live in Florida. I participate in color guard at my school, and I want to try and keep doing that, so the possibly of an independent winter guard nearby or drum corps is kind of important to me. Also cost, I need to be able to have some way to pay for it besides financial aid in terms of need, my mom makes a lot of money and we don’t qualify for much need, but I don’t expect my parents to shell out upwards of 40k a year for my educations. A little bit about myself:

4.0 GPA, straight As for life
32 ACT, with 35 math, 29 reading, 31 english, 33 science and 29 english/writing combined(8/12 on writing)
1980 SAT, with 750 math, 620 reading, 610 writing
4 on AP world history and human geography
Currently taking AP computer science, calculus ab, physics b, and english language and composition

I was looking at the possibly for MIT, but the fact that they offer 0% merit aid pretty much ruins my chances. I also talked to an alumni at an info session for them earlier this week and she said MIT is harder than pretty much any other university, including harvard, and you don’t have much free time, and that the problem sets require you to work with other people every time. I don’t mind collaborating with others for major projects or research, but everyday problems’ That seems like an overload! It would also ruin my chances of participating in color guard.

Other schools include Georgia Tech(which i really like because of the president’s scholarship and ap credit that it accepts among other reasons), UF(best school in florida) and UCF(really good programming program for florida).

Anybody have any other suggestions’ Do i fit into the realm of the schools I am considering’
If I can’t get into something prestigious like MIT or Georgia Tech then I might as well stay in florida and take advantage of my florida pre-paid and bright futures scholarship:P
