How important it is to study corporate finance, corporate strategy, corporate governance and quantitative techniques for management in MBA’

My sister studied full time MBA in which she studied above mentioned subjects, but I have joined distance learning mba from sikkim manipal university and planning to do mba with finance, but the above subjects is not in its syllabus. Is mba study incomplete without study of above subjects.

So smu offers above subject but nowhere it offers subjects like corporate finance, corporate strategy, corporate governance and quantitative techniques for management’ Is business statistics & quantitative techniques for management same. But in full time mba students have to study both. But smu don’t offer subjects like decision making or quantitative techniques for management. Do you think smu course content is good enough’
